Bentley Priory Museum Tour

In a beautiful Grade II listed Mansion House in Stanmore, Bentley
Priory Museum tells one of the most important narratives of
modern history. Bentley Priory was Headquarters Fighter Command
during the Battle of Britain. The Museum commemorates the
aircrew who fought in the skies above Britain, without whose
tireless work victory would not have been possible.

Teams of four from local primary schools compete for prizes and the Festival Cup. Questions cover the obvious and the not-so-obvious but all are good fun!

– traditional wedding and dance music from the Ashkenazi Jews

& Artie Shaw will recognise how Klezmer Rhythms affected their
music as well as the development of American jazz.

One Voice Watford Community Choir have been singing for fun and
the local community since 2008. They are non-selective and all
are welcome. Come and join them! Choirs R Us, Barnet’s singing
sensation. With over 80 men and women, they sing a lively mixture
of Pop, Soul and Gospel in harmony.

Paintings from the Museum’s collection, mainly by local artists,
explore ways in which artists use colour to convey mood, light and
the physical landscape as the seasons change.
